><h3>Intervention Strategy<\/h3>\n<p>The focus of the South Sardinia and Sulcis Archipelago BioDistrict strategy is to promote itself both internally and externally, to expand its social base and strengthen internal connections between supply chains and members by creating structured yet flexible networks.<br \/>\nThe strategic aims of the BioDistrict are to maintain constant and systematic social dialogue between different actors (public and private) in territorial development, ensuring that everyone&#8217;s needs are integrated into shared, sustainable, and effective actions.<br \/>\nThese actions aim to improve residents&#8217; quality of life, enhance work quality and competitiveness of agri-food businesses, tourism, services, and green economy, while respecting the environment and sustainability criteria. All this must be aimed at increasing the active protection of natural, social, and cultural heritage, as well as reducing and optimizing the use of natural resources and energy consumption.<br \/>\nMaximum and equal collaboration between all promoting parties is fundamental, and establishing clear and articulated multilevel governance becomes crucial.<br \/>\nAll this to allow the BioDistrict to develop and implement its strategy in a multi-stakeholder context, where collaboration between public and private entities is decisive for the overall project&#8217;s success <\/p>\n<h3>Location of Activities<\/h3>\n<p>The activities of the South Sardinia and Sulcis Archipelago BioDistrict will take place in the members&#8217; localization areas.<\/p>\n<h3>Specific Activities Planned in the Project<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Fruit and Vegetable Supply Chain Activities<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The following will be implemented:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meetings with conventional farms interested in converting to organic farming<\/li>\n<li>A meeting aimed at raising awareness among young people interested in starting businesses, including family-type ventures<\/li>\n<li>Meetings with BioDistrict fruit and vegetable producers on current regulations and legislation in the fruit and vegetable sector (particularly product characteristics, logistics, and post-harvest packaging)<\/li>\n<li>Contacts with potential new customers locally, nationally, and internationally<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Sheep and Goat Dairy Supply Chain Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A study will be conducted on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analysis of current national and international customers of Sardinian organic sheep cheese<\/li>\n<li>Research for new potential customers for Sardinian organic cheese sector (local, national, and international)<\/li>\n<li>More efficient transport solutions for national and international markets, meeting fresh cheese requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The study on the organic sheep dairy sector will be disseminated through specific activities<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cereals-Pasta-Bread Supply Chain Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>study on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eco-sustainable and recyclable packaging materials<\/li>\n<li>Research for new customers in local, national, and international markets<\/li>\n<li>Research for new processors willing to convert their business to organic<\/li>\n<li>Innovative solutions to increase product shelf-life<br \/>\nThe study on the organic cereal sector will be disseminated through specific activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Olive Supply Chain Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>the following will be implemented:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meetings with olive farms on modern organic farming techniques<\/li>\n<li>A meeting to raise awareness among olive farms in the BioDistrict territory about the needs of the restaurant industry and opportunities to enhance production with traceability systems<\/li>\n<li>Participation in a trade fair to promote the BioDistrict&#8217;s olive production system<\/li>\n<li>Organization of a promotional event during the BioFestival<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Wine Supply Chain Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>the following will be implemented:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meetings with vineyards on modern organic farming techniques<\/li>\n<li>A meeting with wine producers in the BioDistrict territory for adopting a traceability system and territory enhancement<\/li>\n<li>Participation in a trade fair to promote BioDistrict viticulture and wines<\/li>\n<li>Organization of a promotional event during the BioFestival<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Study on Producer Organizations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>this activity includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sector regulations (Fruit and Vegetable CMO, non-fruit and vegetable POs, organic sector POs)<\/li>\n<li>Organizational issues<\/li>\n<li>The importance of logistics<\/li>\n<li>Promotion and enhancement policies<\/li>\n<li>Public financial support tools. The study will be presented and discussed in a specific meeting with BioDistrict member producers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><b>Creation of a Multifunctional BIO Network<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meetings of interested organic producers<\/li>\n<li>Formal establishment of a network with a common Charter of Intent<\/li>\n<li>Creation of a catalog of organic companies joining the Network<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><b>Creation of a BIOHoreca Network<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collection and processing of data on organic product offerings from BioDistrict members<\/li>\n<li>Contacts with Horeca operators<\/li>\n<li>Formal establishment of a network with a common Charter of Intent<\/li>\n<li>Organization of meetings between organic producers and HORECA network operators<\/li>\n<li>Creation of a catalog of Horeca operators joining the Network<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><b>Study on the ecological footprint of organic farms<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The study will analyze sustainability in its environmental, economic, and social dimensions to identify the most significant components for organic agriculture. Within these, useful indicators will be identified to evaluate the sustainability level of organic farms and the distance from preset targets. <\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Promotion of an Energy Community<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creation of a summary sheet of opportunities offered by current regulations for Energy Communities and identification of the target Municipality<\/li>\n<li>Organization and implementation of a public meeting open to potential Energy Community participants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><b>Implementation of a promotional campaign<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Creation of BioDistrict logo. Website (bilingual). 12-month SEO campaign. Facebook page. 12-month social media campaign. Teaser creation.     <\/p>\n<p><strong><b>BioFestival<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following are planned: specific tourist routes in the BioDistrict territory; guided visits to associated organic farms with internship opportunities; exhibition and tasting of organic agricultural products and non-agricultural eco-sustainable products; show cooking; seminars and conferences; recreational activities for children and youth; live music.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Cooperation with other BioDistricts<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Organization of an international seminar Comparison of BioDistrict activities.
